ACTIVITIES
A monthly programme of activities is arranged and residents can choose whether they wish to join in or not. Activities include a Christmas Carol concert, Tai Chi, Strawberry Tea, Fish & Chip Supper, film afternoons, quizzes and talks. There is an annual fund-raising Coffee Morning held in the Courtyard, with a variety of stalls, which provides much-needed money to fund these activities. All the residents, Trustees and Staff are invited to a Christmas Lunch at a nearby hotel, which family members may also attend.

Residents live totally independently and some join in various clubs and societies in the village as well as visiting friends elsewhere. Volunteers visit residents for a chat and a game of scrabble or cards or to offer support where needed.
In addition to a number of Clubs and Societies, e.g. WI, Heritage Society, Horticultural Society, The Village has a Shop and Café and a well-attended Church. It is a lively village with plenty of opportunities to meet people and make new friends.
